Terms & Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions, “GGDPMF” refers to Gŵyl Gerdd Dinas Powys Music Festival. Tickets are sold subject to these Terms, any event-specific conditions, and any venue rules. The “Website” refers to dpmusfest.co.uk.

1. Purchasing Tickets

Tickets can be purchased directly via our official channels:

Mistakes made by the purchaser will not be rectified unless at the discretion of GGDPMF.
Any queries relating to an order must be referred back to the original point of purchase.

2. Event Tickets

A valid physical GGDPMF ticket is required for entry to all paid events.
Booking confirmations, receipts, and order emails are not valid tickets and will not grant entry.
Online or telephone booking confirmations must be exchanged for physical tickets prior to the event.
No postal ticket service is available. All physical tickets must be collected in person.
Free events do not require tickets, although some may require advance registration.

3. Tickets Purchased Online (Website)

A valid email address is required for online purchases.
A booking confirmation will be emailed to the purchaser within 24 hours of placing their order.
Please notify us within 72 hours of placing your order if you have not received your booking confirmation.
Booking confirmations are not tickets and must be exchanged for physical tickets.
Tickets are available for collection at the doors to the event, or any other GGPDMF event.
Front-of-house staff may request identification when collecting or exchanging tickets.

4. Patronage

Patron membership is valid for one calendar year.
Patrons can register at any time throughout the calendar year, but only receive their ticket benefits up until the point tickets go on public sale.
Patrons may reserve one ticket per patron registration, per event. Advance tickets are only available up until tickets go on public sale.
For 2025, patrons may reserve one additional ticket for a single event. This additional ticket is subject to availability and not guaranteed.
Patrons requiring extra tickets are encouraged to invite friends/family to become Patrons.
Reservations, collection and payment arrangements are managed directly with the Patron Administrator.

5. Seat Reservations

Seating is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wheelchair or special seating requirements must be arranged in advance and confirmed in writing.

6. Changes and Cancellations

GGDPMF cannot guarantee prior notice of event cancellations or changes to venue, date, time, or performers.
Where possible, changes will be posted on the Website.
If an event is cancelled, tickets will be refunded.
If an event is postponed:
- existing tickets remain valid for the new date, and
- if you cannot attend, you may claim a refund within 14 days of notification.
GGDPMF is not responsible for any additional costs incurred, including travel or accommodation.

7. Refunds

Refunds will only be issued in accordance with the cancellation policy above.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed by GGDPMF.
To obtain a refund:
- Return your physical ticket(s) to a GGDPMF representative at the venue on the day, or
- Follow the refund instructions on the Website.
If immediate refund processing is not possible, we will take your contact details and process your refund as soon as practicable.

8. General Conditions

GGDPMF is not liable for the acts or omissions of artists, venues, or attendees, nor for loss or theft of personal belongings.
Admission is subject to venue rules. Entry may be refused or revoked for:
- abusive, threatening, intoxicated or anti-social behaviour
- unauthorised audio, video or photographic recording
- consuming food or drink not purchased on the premises
Please notify us at the time of booking if you have specific access needs. We will endeavour to assist but cannot guarantee arrangements without reasonable notice.
Events may be photographed, filmed or recorded for marketing, publicity or archive use. Attendance implies consent to appear in such media.
Personal data is stored in accordance with GDPR and will not be shared except where required by law.
