The festive season wouldn’t be complete without a little music, and we’re delighted to welcome back talented young performers from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (RWCMD) for our much-loved Christmas Concert.
A firm favourite during Dinas Powys Music Festival each May, these concerts have become a cherished tradition in our village, with audiences returning year after year to enjoy the extraordinary voices of some of Wales’s most promising young singers. Their Christmas performances offer another opportunity to experience this exceptional talent, this time with a distinctly festive flavour.
Expect an enchanting programme of seasonal music, bringing together the beauty of classical singing with the warmth and joy of Christmas. From moving melodies to uplifting festive favourites, these gifted young performers will help capture the spirit of the season through the power of the human voice.
As always, the intimate surroundings of Dinas Powys Methodist Church provide a wonderful setting for the concert, allowing audiences to experience the singers up close and appreciate every note in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

One ticket is required per person to each paid event.
All events are seated on a first-come, first-served basis at the event itself, and its not possible to reserve seats in advance.
The only exception to this is if accessible seating/spaces for wheelchairs are required.
Please make us aware of your requirements when placing a booking so we can try and accommodate your needs.
If an event shows as "out of stock" online, this will also apply to our ticket line.
This may not necessarily mean we are completely out of tickets. Please join the waiting list on the page of the sold-out event and should any further tickets become available (via returns, or change in venue capacity), we'll contact those on the waiting list in the order the requests are received.
The Gŵyl Gerdd Dinas Powys Music Festival is a not for profit organisation with a committee comprising of local members of the community within Dinas Powys. The festival hosts approximately 15 events every year, evenly split between paid and free community events. Read more...
