Help bring the music to our community

For over a decade, Gŵyl Gerdd Dinas Powys Music Festival has brought exceptional live music to the heart of our village, creating opportunities for people of all ages to experience, enjoy and participate in music. From internationally acclaimed performers and rising young talent to local choirs and community groups, our festival celebrates the power of music to bring people together.

But our festival is about much more than concerts. We're passionate about inspiring the next generation through music, providing workshops and musical experiences for pupils at our local primary schools, alongside special events introducing toddlers and their families to the joy of live music. We also celebrate and support the Welsh language and culture through music, helping to keep our rich musical heritage alive and accessible to future generations.

Our popular free community events on the Twyn, in the heart of Dinas Powys, bring music out of traditional concert venues and into the village itself. These performances create a welcoming atmosphere where residents, families and visitors can enjoy live entertainment together, regardless of their circumstances.

As a not-for-profit, community-led festival, we work hard to make these experiences possible while keeping events accessible and affordable. With the cost of delivering our 2027 festival exceeding £26,000, the generosity of local businesses and supporters plays an important role in helping us achieve this.

By sponsoring our festival, you're doing more than supporting an event. You're investing in our community, inspiring young musicians, celebrating Welsh culture and helping bring music to everyone.
