As we close the chapter on our 25th anniversary year, the Dinas Powys Music Festival committee would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make 2025 such a memorable celebration of music, community and creativity.
Our silver anniversary programme brought together a wonderful mix of events — from sell-out performances and local talent showcases to our special anniversary dinner — all made possible thanks to our dedicated volunteers, patrons, and supporters.
The AGM, held earlier this month, was a chance to reflect on these successes and to look ahead to another exciting year. Plans for the 2026 Festival (9–17 May) are already well underway, with a rich programme taking shape. Audiences can look forward to performances from Forte, a male voice choir, tribute acts, school workshops, jazz and Welsh nights, and the ever-popular lunchtime concert — with a few more surprises still to come.
Our committee continues to grow, with new volunteers joining to lend their time and talents. We’re grateful for the community’s enthusiasm and the continued involvement of our patrons and local partners.
We’re also pleased to announce that Patron registration for 2026 is now open — your support plays a vital role in sustaining the Festival and ensuring live music continues to thrive in Dinas Powys.
And there’s plenty happening before spring arrives! Tickets for our Christmas Concert — featuring a selection of talented local performers and young musicians — will go on sale online very soon. Keep an eye on our website and social channels for details.
Finally, our thanks go to everyone who’s helped behind the scenes over the past year — from organisers and performers to sponsors, venues, and audiences. Here’s to another year of music and community spirit in 2026!
