A double dose of music on the green!
Returning for the 2025 Festival is local group The Dinas Powis Ecumenical Seven, led by Dr Haydn Jones, OBE. The group has been performing together for over 50 years. The group of 7-15 players is well known throughout Dinas Powys for performances at local village events, including the Rotary Dickensian Fayre, the Village Show, Remembrance Day, and the annual Carols around the Christmas Tree on the village green. If that wasn’t enough, they have even performed for H.M. The Queen Mother! Their most popular annual event continues to be their New Year’s Day Concert, which has been successfully running for more than 39 years at the Parish Hall.
By popular demand, the “No Worries” Uke Band return to the Village Green. Six local friends from Dinas Powys vowed to restore pride in popular music with the help of the humble ukelele.
Tickets are available for purchase either:
One ticket is required per person to each paid event.
All events are seated on a first-come, first-served basis at the event itself, and its not possible to reserve seats in advance.
The only exception to this is if accessible seating/spaces for wheelchairs are required.
Please make us aware of your requirements when placing a booking so we can try and accommodate your needs.
If an event shows as "out of stock" online, this will also apply to our ticketline.
This may not necessarily mean we are completely out of tickets. Please join the waiting list on the page of the sold-out event and should any further tickets become available (via returns, or change in venue capacity), we'll contact those on the waiting list in the order the requests are received.
